Cookie policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This policy explains how the cloverheap.com website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. The website is operated by CLOVERHEAP SOLUTIONS STACK S.R.L. (tax identification number RO 41827723), with its registered office at Str. Lucian Blaga nr. 34, construcția 1, sat Matca, com. Matca, jud. Galați, Romania ("CloverHeap", "we"). You can contact us at [email protected].

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, keep information on your device in the same way. They let a website remember your settings or understand how it is used.

2. What we use

We use two categories:

  • Strictly necessary storage. It remembers choices you make on the website. It is needed for the website to work as you expect and does not require your consent. We do not use it to track you, and the information does not leave your device.
  • Analytics cookies, only with your consent. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited and how visitors find them, so that we can improve it. These cookies are set only after you choose "Accept all".

We do not use advertising cookies. Choosing a language does not set a cookie: the language is part of the page address.

3. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to load Google Analytics. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies.

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you accept, analytics storage is set to "denied", so Google Analytics does not store or read cookies on your device. In this state, Google tags may send limited measurements without cookies (for example, that a page was viewed), which do not use identifiers stored on your device.

When Google Analytics runs, Google processes data such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, your approximate location and your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

More information: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

4. Your choices

  • On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Both options are equally easy to choose, and the website works the same either way.
  • You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we stop analytics and delete the Google Analytics cookies set for our website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Legal basis

We store strictly necessary information on your device under Article 4 of Romanian Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, which does not require consent for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you request. We use analytics cookies only with your consent, under the same law and Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the services we use change. We will publish the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and if the changes affect your choices, we will ask for your consent again.

7. Contact

We use cookies to understand how the site is used and to improve it. You can accept or reject the optional ones, and change your choice at any time. See the cookie policy.
